GEN-CARE Ghana partnered with Fhawe to provide sexual and reproductive health education to girls in secondary schools. The project created a safe space for girls to learn about their bodies, menstrual health, personal hygiene, and the importance of making informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. As part of the initiative, menstrual pads were also donated to participating students to help support menstrual hygiene and reduce some of the challenges girls may face in accessing essential menstrual products. Through education and practical support, the project aimed to equip girls with knowledge, confidence, and resources to make informed choices and stay healthy.
